C.E. Campbell

C.E. (Chuck) Campbell (1940-2018), received his doctorate from the School of Public Health at the University of California Los Angeles. He is a chemist and retired university professor with more than 40 years of experience in higher education and the pharmaceutical industry. He completed post-doctorate studies in chemistry at the campuses of South Dakota State University and the University of California, Irvine. In addition, he has 25 years of experience in law enforcement, specializing in medical-legal fraud and is the author of eight academic public health books. He began writing and researching books about southwest history in 2005.
C.E. Campbell's books reveal history seldom seen: the spectacular rise and fall of radio evangelist Curtis Springer at Zzyzx in the Mojave Desert; the epic 275-year saga of the Corralitos Ranch - from the last days of the Mexican-Indian wars through rebellion, mines, cattle empires, and Panco Villa; and the notorious Sheldon Hotel (now The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park) in El Paso that played a central role in the Mexican Revolution as home to the Borderland Princess.
